Hot on the heels of the last Splatfest, Splatoon 3 has announced a new Splatfest is arriving in August. The theme will pit food fans against each other as Splatoon 3 players battle in turf wars to determine who the victorious team will be.
Splatoon 3, like its predecessors, holds Splatfests regularly. The unique twist on turf wars asks players to pick one of three teams, each led by an idol of Deep Cut, and then battle it out over the weekend to determine which will win. Splatoon 3 just wrapped up the Summer Nights Splatfest, which asked players which summer getaway they'd most want to have to themselves; a palace, theme park, or a beach.

The next Splatfest will start on August 9 and will run through August 11 2024. The theme this time around asks players which starchy food they could eat everyday: bread, rice, or pasta. The teams are led by Shiver, Frye, and Big Man, respectively. Players can expect to be able to register for their chosen team one week before the event starts....
