Last month, the beloved character Alex was added to Street Fighter 6, along with a related World Tour storyline where we learned more about the professional wrestler's background and personal life. The details were... surprising, to say the least.
To catch you up: Alex is an orphaned child who's taken in by his late father's friend and trainer, Tom. After the death of Alex's parents, Tom essentially becomes his adopted father. That's all above board, but then Tom and his wife have a daughter named Patricia. Alex and Patricia grew up together, making them step-siblings, more or less. Later in life, the pair get married.
It's already a dubious premise, since the pair are basically brother and sister, but then a throwaway line reveals that Tom was a cousin of Alex's mother, meaning they're also biologically related. The pair then have a child of their own, completing the Habsburg-esque circle.
