Gustave Actor Charlie Cox Has Finally Played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Charlie Cox made headlines following the release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for insisting that any plaudits for his performance as Gustave should be directed towards the character's motion capture actor and everyone else who worked on the game, as he only spent a handful of hours in the recording booth playing Gustave.

He also admitted that he's a "total fraud" when it comes to video games and hasn't played anything since his teenage years playing the Nintendo 64. In a pre-BAFTA Awards interview with GamesRadar+, Cox revealed he'd finally found time to play Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a game that has now accumulated over 400 awards since releasing April.

"I've since played a bit of it," Cox revealed. "Not the whole thing, I haven't completed it. There are people who've played it, there are people who've completed it, which—as far as I could work out—is 50 plus hours, maybe 100 hours, sometimes, of gameplay.
