Ubisoft Says It Won't Delay Star Wars Outlaws Following Graphics Backlash

A recent gameplay showcase for Star Wars Outlaws has received a ton of backlash due to its visuals and animation quality, which has prompted a response from Ubisoft.

Although Star Wars fans have been dreaming about a truly open-world game for quite some time, it's fair to say that Star Wars Outlaws has been under quite the microscope ever since it was revealed. Despite a lot of promising comments from Massive about how the game handles exploration and progression (which notably doesn't include XP), it's had a hard time getting in the community's good books.

Star Wars fans never engaged with The Acolyte, they just went in looking for any excuse to be angry.

There are a few reasons for this, ranging from the surprising inclusion of a season pass to idiots on the internet making fun of Kay's appearance, but a new one has just cropped up. Just a few days ago, IGN released a video showing off 10 minutes of Star Wars Outlaws gameplay, which has received a very frosty reception so far.

As of the time of writing, IGN's Star Wars Outlaws gameplay video sits at 17,000 dislikes compared to 9,000 likes, which is pretty surprising...
