EVO's official Twitter account has seemingly confirmed that Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice aren't the only new fighters coming to MultiVersus in Season 2.
Although Season 1 of MultiVersus hasn't exactly been what fans were hoping for after the game spent a year offline, things are already looking a bit more exciting in Season 2, which starts in just a few days on July 23. We finally got our first glimpse at what's next for the game yesterday during EVO 2024, which revealed that Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice are being added as new fighters.
Banana Guard and Jason had my eyebrows raised at first, but I'm just glad MultiVersus has some tricks up its sleeves still.
As great as it is to see both Jack and Beetlejuice added to MultiVersus after being rumoured and leaked for so long, some fans have expressed worry that Season 2 is only adding two new fighters, as they're the only ones who were shown in the trailer and on the key art to go alongside it. Worry not, though, as EVO has seemingly confirmed that they're just the beginning.
