A few reliable Fortnite leakers have seemingly uncovered a first look at an update to the official Fortnite website that adds a working version of the game's Item Shop.
If you've been as deep into the Fortnite trenches as I have, then I'm sure there have been a few times when, after staring at the clock like a hungry Gremlin, you've logged on after midnight just to see what's new in the Item Shop. I'm not proud of it, but it's definitely happened when I've been looking forward to an original skin or crossover.

That minor annoyance might be making its way to some scary spending habits, however. It's been rumoured for some time that Epic was updating Fortnite's website to add functionality for the Item Shop, which means that players wouldn't even need to boot up Fortnite to buy skins and see what's up for sale that day. It looks like that's going to be a reality soon.
