With the likes of Halo, Gears of War and Forza Horizon, either already on PlayStation or planning to be, plus the presence of God of War and The Last of Us on PC, there aren't very many novelties remaining in gaming that have yet to be explored.

Arguably the biggest remaining novelty is seeing Nintendo's titles on anything but an NES, SNS, GameCube, Game Boy, Wii, Wii U, Switch or Switch 2. Though it's ultimately doubtful that Mario will be on PlayStation, or Link will join the Green Gang that is Team Xbox, some fans are actively trying to make it happen via decompiling Nintendo games on PC.

Sorry Nintendo, I'm not dropping over £150 on a game from 2018.

Super Smash Bros. 64, the title that kickstarted it all, is among those projects, and thanks to a new project, it's officially on PC, albeit with one major caveat — AI.

For some time now, fans have been slowly trying to decompile Super Smash Bros. 64 so it can natively run on PC. One fan took it a step further by releasing a version of Super Smash Bros. 64 that made use of AI to finish the job.
