To celebrate the release of Saros, PlayStation is offering six free avatars based on some of the game's characters that are surprisingly easy to redeem.
If you're like me and have been rocking the same PSN avatar for years now (I love you, Ape Escape Pipo), then you'll be very happy to see how often PlayStation has been offering free avatars lately. These free avatars are usually released whenever one of PlayStation's big triple-A games launches, and they're usually pretty easy to redeem.
That isn't always the case, though, as was proven by the Resident Evil 20th anniversary avatars that we got last month, which required an annoying amount of extra steps that I'm apparently still not over. Thankfully, that isn't the case with its latest free avatar drop based on Housemarque's excellent Saros.
As pointed out by Push Square, the free Saros avatars are tied to the game's official page on the PlayStation website. If you head over there, you'll see a widget on the right side of the screen telling you to "Call the Eclipse", a reference to one of the game's central mechanics.
Doing so will play a short animation before bringing you back to...
