Team Cherry May Be Teasing That Hollow Knight: Silksong's DLC Will Release This Month

Hollow Knight: Silksong is getting some DLC at some point this year, that much we already know. Sea of Sorrow was revealed shortly after the game's launch last year, and we've heard nothing since, as fans have dove into the game's files to try and find unused cutscenes and environmental changes to guess what it could be about.

We're still waiting for that all-important release date, and judging from what we know of Team Cherry and how Hollow Knight: Silksong's date was announced, it could happen at any second. In fact, it could very well happen this month.

Last weekend, Team Cherry's main marketing and publishing guy, Matthew Griffin — also affectionately referred to as Leth by the community - has managed to whip Silksong fans into a frenzy, though that isn't particularly hard to do. Unfortunately, he didn't specifically mention a date or month, but he did reply to a fan joking that their sources told them Sea of Sorrow would release this month.

It wasn't an outright dismissal of the idea either. Griffin simply replied with the "face with monocle" emoji, which could mean any number of things, if we're being honest. It could be a tease that...
