Invincible VS wears its references to the show on its sleeves, but fans have spotted a rather subtle nod to the fate of Bulletproof in the comics that has yet to happen in Amazon's adaptation.
If there's one thing that Invincible VS has made very clear ever since it was first revealed, it's that it has a lot of love for the source material, especially when it comes to Amazon's TV show. The game is stuffed with references, from characters having specific moves they've used in the show, to the beloved title card joke that VS couldn't help making.
While Invincible VS was always going to have a ton of references to the show, fans of the comics have wondered whether Quarter Up hid anything that hints at future events the show simply hasn't reached yet. As it turns out, there is, in fact, an easter egg that references a pretty big moment from the comic to do with Bulletproof.
