The UK physical chart isn't an exact science when it comes to gauging how well a game has sold at launch, but they're the first numbers we get, so they're often a good indicator. That's why it's a little worrying for Saros that not only has it not rocketed straight to number one upon release, but it was outsold by Cyberpunk 2077.
Compiled by GfK and shared by Nintendo Life, last week's chart shows that Saros only sold enough copies to debut at number three. It fell short of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, which is back on top after being briefly dethroned by Pragmata, and more surprisingly by Cyberpunk's Ultimate Edition, which held onto second position for another week.
Living the Dream is the third big release this year to experience widespread sellouts of its physical copies.
Cyberpunk was released in 2020, so to see it outselling so many far newer games, including Saros, is a little strange. I can only assume that it's the game's complete edition getting a significant price cut on Amazon UK that has resulted in a sales spike.
