Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has revealed that he wants to see Street Fighter, Marvel, and DC characters as potential guests in the next game in the series.
Ever since Mortal Kombat 9 saw Kratos and Freddy Krueger pop in as murderous cameos, the Mortal Kombat series has made a bit of a name for itself with its many crossovers. In the past few games alone, we've seen guest fighters from Invincible, The Boys, Rambo, Predator, and some of the biggest horror movies out there.
One of the only notable missing crossovers in Mortal Kombat is Ash Williams, who was supposed to appear in Mortal Kombat 11. A true shame since he'd unarguably be the best guest of the lot.
Although not every Mortal Kombat fan is jazzed about how important crossovers have become to the series, they're clearly not going anywhere. In fact, even though NetherRealm is rumoured to be working on something other than Mortal Kombat right now, series creator Ed Boon has some picks for who he'd like to see appear in the series later down the line.
