Even though 007 First Light hasn't even launched yet, IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak has confirmed that the studio is up for a sequel if everything goes "really well".
Ever since it was first revealed that Hitman developer IO Interactive was going to be working on a James Bond game (known as Project 007 at the time), it's seemed like a match made in heaven. That feeling has only grown with every new trailer and preview for First Light, with some of the recent impressions even calling it an early Game of the Year contender.
It's pretty clear that 007 First Light is going to be one of the biggest games of 2026, and it seems that IO Interactive is already well aware of it. In fact, despite First Light not launching for another few weeks now, IO Interactive's CEO, Hakan Arbrak, has confirmed that the team is interested in doing more Bond games later down the line.
