Stranger Than Heaven Will Seemingly Have Fixed Subtitles That Include Multiple Languages

Yakuza games have come a long way ever since the inception of the series, and they've adapted along with its ever-growing fanbase. For example, back during the Yakuza 0 days, all the characters spoke in Japanese, and you'd have to use subtitles to figure out what's going on, but nowadays, the games are much more accommodating to the growing Western audience.

Games such as Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth have come along with full English dubs, and while they can sometimes be questionable at best (hello YongYea), the actors they get on board can be decent (hello Matt Mercer). That will probably be the way Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios does things going forward with Yakuza, but for Stranger Than Heaven, it seems as though a different approach is being adopted.

First spotted by a Reddit user called Animegamingnerd and shared with the Yakuza subreddit, it appears as though store information for Stranger Than Heaven is claiming that the audio for supported languages for the game is fixed, meaning you won't get the choice to choose between a purely Japanese-speaking cast, or a full English dub.
