God of War director Cory Barlog says that he "totally supports" Nintendo shadowdropping its Star Fox Direct to purposefully mess with known leaker NateTheHate, who also shared details of Sony Santa Monica's next game.
Over the past few years, NateTheHate has become one of the most reliable gaming leakers in the whole industry, with a nearly perfect track record and insider details about seemingly every studio and upcoming game out there. That notably includes the next God of War game, which Nate suggested will star Faye and be more action-oriented than Kratos' Norse duology.
Sony Santa Monica has been keeping that project quiet for a very long time now, despite all of the rumours about what kind of game it was going to be. Considering Nate claimed it was going to be announced at some point this year, it must have been even more annoying for information about the next God of War to leak out, which Cory Barlog has made clear in a recent Bluesky post.
