If you're looking for more reasons to play Sonic Frontiers, then it appears that Sega might be gearing up to provide just that for the well-received and extremely well-selling 3D Sonic title. On the heels of a ratings leak that point to a "Definitive Edition" for Sonic Frontiers, the game has received a price cut and new description on Steam.
In other words, a lot more evidence that a repackage of sorts is on the way.
As first spotted by My Nintendo News, the Steam page, via SteamDB, has received a number of updates, including a changing of assets, plus a new description that reads as such:
Sonic Frontiers is a groundbreaking open-zone action-adventure game set on the ancient Starfall Islands. Join Sonic as he battles hordes of powerful enemies with an all-new combat system, explores the mysteries of the islands, and saves his friends!
The title's base price is now $39.99, instead of the typical $59.99, with the Deluxe Edition coming in at $49.99.
Ultimately, only time will tell what Sega announces, but back in March, as Gematsu first reported, "Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition" was rated by The Game Rating and Administration Committee...
