While Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is still a little over two weeks away from launch, that hasn't stopped developer TT Games from debuting the title's launch trailer, and if it wasn't already clear that Legacy of the Dark Knight is a celebration of all things related to Batman, from films to games to comics, it's even more clear now.
Right off the rip, the near-three-minute-long trailer is set to Seal's "Kiss from a Rose." That song was the headlining feature of 1995s Batman Forever, but where Batman Forever was maligned by critics, the title track was actually beloved.
So much so that Seal took home awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 1996 Grammy Awards. The music video is also fairly iconic, featuring interspersed movie clips.
Legacy of the Dark Knight feels bigger, and maybe even better, than anything TT has ever done with its Lego games before.
The nostalgia doesn't stop there, though.
In typical Lego fashion, several iconic scenes are remade with a few twists, largely humorous ones.
