If you ever consider yourself lucky, then think again. That's because one gamer redeemed their pre-order of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a title that's not due out until May 22, only to find out that they can play the game early.
As first shared on the r/LegoGaming subreddit, one user reportedly purchased a digital code on Walmart's website, redeemed it on their Xbox and followed the steps, a set of steps that apparently didn't end and led to the title being fully bootable.
In a series of screenshots shared, they showcase that the title was fully playable, with images of a save slot, as well as presumably the game's first mission shared.
"I'm just as shocked as you are," they wrote on Reddit.
Legacy of the Dark Knight feels bigger, and maybe even better, than anything TT has ever done with its Lego games before.
Initially, the lucky duck had zero intention of playing the game, wanting to wait until May 22 like everyone else. Then, after a bit of peer pressure, they gave in and have since started playing, though they won't be spoiling the game, so there's that.
