Stellar Blade studio Shift Up has been very forthcoming when it comes to talking about a sequel for its hit game. It has continued that trend today by not only revealing that its Stellar Blade sequel will be published in-house, but also that it will have more to reveal about the game before the end of 2026.
During the Q&A section of the studio's latest earnings report (via Twisted Voxel), Shift Up confirmed that development on the next Stellar Blade game is "progressing smoothly" and that it remains on track when it comes to meeting the studio's internal standards. It was suggested this time last year that a Stellar Blade 2 might be released in 2026, although this latest report suggests we might get a reveal before the end of the year and not necessarily the game itself.
