On April 2 last year, Nintendo announced a range of new amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. These included amiibo versions of Yunobo, Sidon, Tulin, and Riju, as well as an amiibo-sized version of Mineru's Construct.
The New Sages' amiibo were subsequently released on June 5, 2025, but for more than a year since its announcement, the Mineru's Construct amiibo has been AWOL. There was an assumption that Nintendo had forgotten that it had announced the thing.
Thankfully, as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom turns three, the Mineru's Construct amiibo has resurfaced, with Nintendo confirming it will arrive later this year.
Nintendo has today confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Mineru's Construct amiibo will be launching on September 17, 2026.
The figure becomes the second to feature articulated, posable arms, following on from the Guardian amiibo from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It will, like the New Sages, gift players a unique design for Link's paraglider in Tears of the Kingdom, this one adorned with the owl-like face of Mineru's Construct.
The Mineru's Construct amiibo will cement The Legend of Zelda series's second-place spot...
