It's a tough time being a Persona fan. For as long as I've worked at TheGamer, I've had an article prepared, decrying "Persona 6 Revealed", ready to publish it on the fateful day that it actually happens. Showcases have come and gone, however, and that article remains unused.
It's been almost exactly 10 years since Persona 5 launched in September 2016, and while there have been some minor murmurings about Persona 6, nothing has yet materialized.
Now, it looks like that wait could go on a lot longer (and my article remain unused), as today, Sega released its latest financial reports, and while it mentions upcoming games like Stranger Than Heaven, there is a notable absence of any Persona 6 mention.
