Crimson Desert has been going from strength to strength thanks to a consistent flow of free updates from developer Pearl Abyss. You could argue that the game feels and even looks better than it did at launch, despite it releasing just a few months ago, and we can only assume that the game will continue to grow as the months roll by.
Of course, free updates are all well and good, and I'll never say no to a new mount or two, but with how big and successful Crimson Desert has been for Pearl Abyss, you have to wonder whether any official DLC is coming for the game, whether that be in the form of new quests, or even a new area. While nothing has been confirmed just yet, Pearl Abyss has now stated that it's "exploring" the idea.
Pearl Abyss revealed this news in its most recent earnings letter (thanks GamesRadar), claiming that it's looking for ways to "broaden the game to the next level", which includes the possibility of DLC.
