People Are Modding Forza Horizon 6 A Week Before Launch

Forza Horizon 6 was leaked last week, allowing some to pirate the game well ahead of its May 19 release date. Playground Games has confirmed that this is the case and that it will be taking action against those who access the game in this way.

However, enough players have managed to access it that they are now modding the game. On Nexus Mods, fan-made creations for Forza Horizon 6 are already being shared, well before anyone is supposed to be playing it.

Over on Nexus Mods, there are already three mods available to download for Forza Horizon 6. They're the sort of mods you'd expect to see on launch day, but out long before that, so some people are clearly modding the unauthorised version of the game.

Should you fancy some quality of life changes on launch day, though, you're in luck. One mod changes the button layout to accommodate PS5 controllers, and another removes the HUD.

Those who access the game early through the cracked version being shared online risk severe penalties. Playground says that it will hit those caught playing with "franchise-wide" hardware bans, seemingly preventing you from playing any Forza games on your setup....
