GTA 6 is six months away, and with news about its pre-orders leaking, it sounds like it's full steam ahead with no more delays in sight. That means we might soon know how much the game will cost, and it seems most of you are willing to pay considerably more than the industry standard.
That's according to research conducted by FirstLook. In a survey that quizzed 2,000 gamers across the US and UK about what they'd be willing to pay for GTA 6 at launch, the consensus was that the expectation when it comes to the next GTA's price is that it will cost more than the triple-A standard $70, but maybe not as much as the potential new $80 norm.
Take-Two was previously one of the first publishers to raise the price of games from $60 to $70.
It wasn't far off, though, with the average expected price for GTA 6 from those surveyed landing on $78, so more people expecting it to cost $80 or more than not.
