Subnautica 2's Early Access Roadmap Includes Proximity Chat, Player Emotes, And More

Subnautica 2 is pretty popular. That might be stating the obvious a little bit, what with the game having sold one million copies within a couple of hours and reached a peak player count of over 400,000 on a school day, but I digress. People are jumping in and enjoying themselves, but due to the fact the game is in early access at the moment, some are finding it a little barebones.

Of course, Unknown Worlds is working hard to deliver on the promises that it made about Subnautica 2 being massive, and it's already got quite a few exciting features in the works that it plans to roll out in the near future.

Speaking with outlet MP1st, Unknown Worlds laid out a brief preview of what's to come now that the game has been released, with the first update reportedly going to revolve around quality of life improvements. Here's what that update will apparently include:
