Subnautica 2 Reveals Exactly What Happened To The Original Game's Protagonist

Subnautica 2 is finally here, and while it may still be a shell of the game it's eventually going to be, there's still plenty of stuff to dive (pun absolutely intended) into and discover. With a game like Subnautica 2, there's bound to be a few hidden little secrets for fans to discover, and in fact, one has already been found that will finally give all your long-time Subnautica fans some closure.

For those that have played the original, you'll be aware that the main protagonist's name is Ryley Robinson, yet you probably don't know much about what happened to him after he escaped the planet he was stranded on. It was revealed on a fun little, in-universe radio show that Robinson went on to write a book called '4546B: Surviving the Impossible', but we don't know much after that.

For all we knew, Robinson could have been living it large as a best-selling author, but thanks to Subnautica 2, we know this isn't the case.
