Pokémon finally dipped its toes into the plastic Lego bin earlier this year with a few ambitious, albeit pricey sets, including a $200 Pikachu, an eye-watering $650 starter collage, and a more reasonable $60 Eevee.

However, not content with waiting for new sets to be announced, one fan, Brad 'Creation Caravan' Barber, used the Eevee set to build two entirely different Pokémon, with no extra pieces required — Bidoof and Pinsir.

There are a lot of popular Pokémon no doubt lined up for future Lego collabs, and it's hard to imagine Pinsir being high up on that list, so this might very well be the closest we get to an 'official' design. However, if you're one of the few people who prefer the bipedal bug-type to the much cuter Eevee, and are desperate to make a Lego version to proudly display on your shelf, Creation Caravan is selling the instructions on Rebrickable for $6.

You can find the instructions for Bidoof here.

I'm not sure if Bidoof is more or less likely than Pinsir to get a Lego set (maybe it's my own Gen 4 bias creeping in — I did message the work chat, in all caps, 'BIDOOF'...
