Nintendo has announced that two brand new games are joining the Yo-Kai Watch series on 3DS and that they will be available on September 7th.
Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps and Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad each lets up to four players work cooperatively locally or online to "fight towering Big Bosses, using skills and powerful Soultimate Moves" during real-time fights. Both games are considered to be action-RPG, the first of their kind in the series.
Players will control their own Yo-Kai and work cooperatively to formulate strategies using different skills and equipment to take down "huge bosses". There are over 400 new and returning Yo-Kai for players to "meet, befriend and battle" along an epic series of missions.
Post-launch, an update will be released that will include more bosses, missions, side quests and Yo-Kai.
Each game retails for $40 and will be coming your way on September 7th.
Each of the two versions of the game contains different Yo-kai, missions and bosses. By trading between the two, you can collect all the Yo-kai! And by linking save data from the YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits, YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls or YO-KAI WATCH 2: Psychic Specters games, you can get one of three special Yo-kai to take into battle.
