Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel has once again praised AI-generated images of his creation and pointed out that they probably have more "thought, skill, and care" than his design since Jim was "slop when I made him".
There are plenty of platforming games that it's rough to be a fan of right now, but there's no one who has it quite as bad as Earthworm Jim fans. Not only has there not been anything from the series in a very long time since the planned fourth game got cancelled alongside the Intellivision Amico, but Jim's creator, Doug TenNapel, regularly reminds everyone why the worm is stuck in the dirt.
