MTG Arena To Get Marvel Super Heroes, Through The Omenpaths Retired | TechRaptor

In a surprise announcement, Wizards of the Coast announced a change to the digital release of Marvel Super Heroes on Magic: The Gathering Arena, as well as future (and past) Marvel releases for Arena.

Starting on June 23rd, when Marvel Super Heroes releases, the full set will be available on MTG Arena with the license intact. 

This is in contrast to 2025's Marvel's Spider-Man where all the cards were given alternate names and art from inside the Magic: The Gathering universe. This won't be the case for Marvel Super Heroes, nor for future sets, as they will have all the licensed characters and depictions you might expect per the new announcement.

Beyond the main set, the MTG Arena release of Marvel Super Heroes will also feature source material cards that depict artwork from Marvel's history, and will be both draftable and craftable. One of these cards will be the MTG Arena debut of classic Merfolk Lord of Atlantis. Cards from Jumpstart Boosters, Beginner Box, and Scene Boxes will all be available online, along with the cards from all four of the Commander decks.
