Marvel Cosmic Invasion was a return to classic arcade beat-em-up form, following on the heels of other properties like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Today publisher Dotemu and Tribute Games have announced and released the first character DLC for Cosmic Invasion. On top of releasing two new playable characters there have also been teases into what DLC 2 for Marvel Cosmic Invasion will entail, and when it will release.
Today, players will be able to purchase DLC 1 for $3.99 or whatever their local equivalent is to get immediate access to The Thing and Cyclops. Revealing more information about these characters The Thing is described as a 'grappling-focused powerhouse. With surprising mobility allowing him to bounce across environments to get the jump on enemies." For Cyclops, the leader of the X-Men, "Cyclops blasts into battle to make quick work of foes with his signature kinetic energy beams. Cyclops’ optic blasts can also be shot diagonally, providing an excellent counter for aerial enemies"
