GTA Parent Company Take-Two Is Already Using AI To Create Adverts

AI has caused a bit of a stink in the video game industry over recent months. We've seen companies like Sandfall Interactive (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33), Larian (Baldur's Gate 3/Divinity), and Warhorse embroiled in controversy after admitting to using AI in one way or another.

Another company that has admitted to using AI is Rockstar, which says that while it does use AI, it won't appear anywhere in Grand Theft Auto 6.

We've now found out a little more about how Rockstar, but more pertinently, its parent company, Take-Two, uses AI, as in its Q4 and FY26 earnings call, it was revealed that the technology has been used to create full adverts.

Take-Two CEO has been bullish on AI. He's previously mentioned that it will never be able to create the next Grand Theft Auto game, but has sung its praises for improving development efficiency. Last night's investor call was no different.
