Fable is set to be out at some point this year, but we still don't have a release date. Considering GTA 6 is going ahead with its own launch in November, there's always talk of other 2026 releases being moved around - likely delayed - to avoid getting drowned out of the conversation.
Now, it seems like Fable won't be one of those games. As spotted in the Fable subreddit, the game has now been rated for release in at least two regions: Korea and Australia. This means that there's enough of the game for ratings boards to have a look at, which bodes well for our chances of getting a 2026 release date soon.
To little surprise, it looks like Fable is getting a mature rating across the board. That would line up with the previous main entries in the series. In the EU, it is expected to get another PEGI 16 rating, but that hasn't been confirmed just yet.
The age ratings don't tell us much about the game, with the notes from the Australian ratings board simply stating that Fable contains "violence" and "mature themes", which sounds much like the original games.
