Rockstar parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has just held its long-awaited Q4 and FY26 earnings call. While these are typically reserved for investors looking to see how their stocks have performed, all eyes have been on this one, given the relative silence around Grand Theft Auto 6.
As a preemptive measure, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed to shareholders that Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch on November 19, with marketing to begin this summer.
With news on Grand Theft Auto 6 so quiet, there have been fears that the game may, once again, be delayed. It was originally due for release this month, before being pushed to November 19.
One of the first things CEO Zelnick confirmed on the call was that he is expecting Take-Two to have a record-breaking fiscal year, as "Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19." Marketing, as expected, will begin properly this summer, despite questions from investors about whether the game needs marketing at all. Notably, the game is miles behind its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto 5, in terms of marketing. The company said it will spend heavily on marketing during the call.
