Developer Lazy Bear Games has posted its first developer log for the upcoming dark management game, Graveyard Keeper 2, a sequel to the cult classic indie. Although we still don't have a release date, the game is slated for release in 2026, and this dev log feels more like a, "Hey, here's all the features in our game," rather than a, "Oh, we're still working on this."
This dev log covers zombies - which were an important part of the first game if you purchased the Breaking Dead DLC - in terms of their progression and how they will help you automate as you progress in the game.
Perhaps the coolest surprise of the dev log is the first look at the tower defense mechanics in Graveyard Keeper 2. As a new Inquisitor tasked with rebuilding the town, you will need to defend your base against waves of zombies using your sword, and, well, other zombies.
