Subnautica 2 Dev Tells Gamers To Play Something Else If They Want Violence

If it hasn't already been made abundantly clear, Subnautica 2 will not add violence of any kind to the game, even as it commences its Early Access period. And if that's something you can't get behind, then there are other games to go play, a dev has revealed.

Specifically, if it's violence that you're after, then go play Sons of the Forest.

According to recent reports, Wolfenstein 3 is in production at MachineGames.

As first spotted by GamesRadar, in Subnautica 2's official Discord, a developer essentially told players to go kick rocks if they are that hellbent on violence.

"We aren't a killing game. Go play Sons of the Forest or something if you want to kill," a developer named Artie wrote on Discord.

If you're curious about what exactly Sons of the Forest is, it's apparently an ultra-violent survival game.

"Enter a world where nowhere is safe and fight against a range of mutated creatures, some who are almost human-like, and others who are like nothing you have ever seen before. Armed with pistols, axes, stun batons and more, protect yourself and those you care for," the game's Steam description notes.
