After previously targeting an early access launch this year, viral indie Into The Unwell has "unannounced" those plans and will instead have a full launch in 2027.
Although there's a seemingly endless supply of exciting indie games on the horizon, there's one in particular that's stuck with me ever since it was first revealed - Into The Unwell. The rubberhose visuals were an immediate draw, but it was the very PS2-esque brawling and dark sense of humour that really hooked me.
Last year, I had the chance to go hands-on with Into The Unwell and had such a blast with it that I've been eagerly waiting to find out when its planned early access date was going to be. I'm going to have to keep on waiting for a while, though, as Into The Unwell is skipping ahead to a full release, and one that will push its release date to 2027.
