Kingdom Hearts Could Finally Get A Native Switch 2 Port, As Cloud Demos Are Removed

It looks like the rumours of Kingdom Hearts getting a proper Switch port might have had some truth to them, as the infamous cloud release has randomly had its demo versions removed.

Ever since the launch of the Switch 2, Square Enix has made it incredibly clear that it plans to port over several of its biggest games and franchises to Nintendo now that it has a console powerful enough to handle them. We've already seen how well that went for Final Fantasy 7 Remake last year, and that success is set to continue with Rebirth in a few weeks time.

If there's one Square Enix series that stands out as the perfect fit for the Switch, it's Kingdom Hearts, which was unfortunately relegated to an awful cloud version a few years ago instead of getting a native port. It's previously been claimed that a native release is coming to the Switch 2, and those rumours just reignited after a strange change to the cloud version was spotted.

As pointed out by Twitter user KHMLTomorrow, the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Cloud Version's Nintendo eShop page has been updated out of nowhere to remove the demo that was previously available...
