Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launched out of early access yesterday, and while its opening figures are certainly nothing to scoff at, dethroning Arkham Knight's peak player count, it hasn't quite measured up to The Skywalker Saga.
Of course, Steam numbers should always be taken with a grain of salt. They are not representative of the whole picture, as we saw when PlayStation rolled out its cumulative player count data, revealing the true scope of Call of Duty's popularity.
With that being said, it is fascinating to see where Legacy of the Dark Knight measures up, overtaking its inspirations while not quite climbing to the same heights as the last TT Games release, which, considering the adoration for The Complete Saga, was a major event.
Legacy of the Dark Knight might be lagging behind in peak player count, but it boasts an impressive 97.2 percent positive review score, versus the 90.2 percent that The Skywalker Saga currently holds.
