Assassin’s Creed Ancient Rome RPG Unites Gamers

Since its inception back in 2007, the Assassin's Creed franchise has taken us through all different eras of history, from the Italian Renaissance period to the Ptolemaic period, Victorian London to Ancient Greece. For many of us, the Ubisoft franchise was our introduction to the history of the world, allowing us to experience new cultures, time periods, and historical events.

Most recently, the Assassin's Creed franchise took us to late-16th-century feudal Japan in Assassin's Creed Shadows, whilst the next mainline entry, Assassin's Creed Hexe, will see us step into the shoes of a witch during the Holy Roman Empire. In the middle of that, we will be returning to the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced, a remake of 2013's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. So, put simply, it is an exciting time to be a fan of the beloved Ubisoft franchise.

However, with the Assassin's Creed franchise expected to continue until time infinitum, fans have already begun speculating as to where the future will take us, and it seems as though Ancient Rome is one such suggestion.
