It has been an exciting few months for those highly anticipating the launch of the Hogwarts Legacy sequel. Despite being confirmed to be in development by both Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games, Hogwarts Legacy 2 is still yet to receive an official announcement, via cinematic trailer release or otherwise. However, many believe that the day is finally coming, and it is a lot sooner than we had first hoped.
This comes after a busy few months for the Hogwarts Legacy sequel. Back in March, it was revealed that the launch of Hogwarts Legacy 2 would "coincide" with the arrival of HBO's Harry Potter television show, which is set to air some time in 2027. We do not yet know in what capacity the two stories will be interlinked, but if Harry Potter airs next year, it would make sense for Hogwarts Legacy 2 to follow suit.
