IO Interactive has officially released the first 13 minutes of the upcoming 007: First Light, showing off gameplay and establishing the game's story. The early gameplay of 007: First Light shows off the game's chaotic start and stealth segments featuring a young James Bond.

The newest game based on the iconic international secret agent gives fans a peek at a much younger Bond than in the movies. The story of 007: First Light follows James Bond not long after joining MI6, framed as an origin story that will see him earn his 00 title. First Light will also mark a long-awaited return of the James Bond franchise to video games, which hasn't had a wholly new game since 007 Legends in 2012. Now, a few days before its release, IO Interactive is officially giving fans a look at the opening moments of 007: First Light.

007 First Light may be chasing the same spy fantasy Alpha Protocol once imagined, only with Bond’s polish, gadgets, and sharper instincts.
