Lord of the Rings fans are feeling great after last week's confirmation of the open-world Middle-earth RPG from Warhorse Studios, the developers behind the Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise. Gamers have been waiting for a proper video game adaptation of Tolkien's work for years, and despite the game likely not releasing for quite some time, it's incredible news for longtime Lord of the Rings enthusiasts worldwide.
Beyond the Warhorse RPG, there's a lot of Lord of the Rings content too look forward to in the coming months, with Rings of Power season 3 set to air in November this year, Andy Serkis's The Hunt for Gollum getting a December 2027 release, and the official confirmation of Stephen Colbert's adaptation of the early parts of Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring such as the pivotal chapter "Fog on the Barrow-downs."
Further, there's an incredible upcoming release coming out this year that Lord of the Rings fans will want to mark on their calendars, and it features an epic return of the notorious evil wizard Saruman (via Sideshow).
