Lord of the Rings fans are finally getting the open-world RPG set in Middle-earth they've been waiting on for what feels like forever, with developers behind the Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise at Warhorse Studios officially confirming the project earlier last week. It's just one of several exciting LOTR announcements of late, with Stephen Colbert and Peter Jackson confirming earlier this month there's yet another new film in development taking fans back to the early chapters of Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring.
Further, with Rings of Power season 3 officially slated to air this November and The Hunt for Gollum getting an official release date set for December 2027, there's a lot to look forward to in the Lord of the Rings universe.
