The Steam store is already well known for offering massive discounts year-round on a variety of games, ranging from indie to triple-A, but only once in a blue moon do we get a fantastic game to keep at no cost whatsoever. Even the rare times when Steam does let you permanently keep games for free, it's usually much smaller indie titles rather than the $40 experience that players are currently overlooking.
Offering an excellent single-player campaign, endless hours of multiplayer potential, and several optional paid DLC to take the experience even further, this sci-fi game is one that is well worth booting up Steam to claim, even if you don't plan on playing it right away.
Having been released in 2018, the entirety of the 4X strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War is free to claim on Steam until May 28, leaving only a few days left to sink your teeth into the planetary conquest simulator without any strings attached. Even if you're unfamiliar with the Warhammer setting as a whole, the turn-based formula of Gladius will still be familiar if you've played similar games in the genre like Sid Meier's Civilization....
