The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI is already closer than it has ever been before, taking into account when the two previous delays were announced, and it's fair to say that excitement is understandably ramping up. Unfortunately, we haven't really heard much from Rockstar officially, and that has started to become galling for gathered fans.
The most recent communication we have seen comes from a more tertiary approach, with a few interesting tidbits from Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick, as well as the report on the game's progress as part of the company's earnings call. One thing we are waiting for is a third and final trailer, but it turns out the last trailer is causing a lot of consternation among fans after a very specific anniversary.
Over on Reddit, one user shared a screenshot in which someone pointed out the GTA VI's second trailer was still pinned to Rockstar's profile on Twitter/X. That's all well and good, until you realize that the release date given at the end of that video is May 26, or today (at the time of writing).
