Persona 4 Revival has received an age rating in South Korea, suggesting that it will be released within the next year. Sega and Atlus announced that a remake of Persona 4, called Persona 4 Revival, was in development during the 2025 Xbox Showcase with a teaser trailer. Following on from the success of the last Persona entry, Persona 3 Reload, Revival is a ground-up remake that will keep the main story beats of the original but include a number of updates, new features, and a complete graphical overhaul. Like Persona 3 Reload, which is based on Persona 3 FES rather than the original game, Persona 4 Revival is expected to use the updated version, Persona 4 Golden, as the basis for the remake.
Sega hasn't officially revealed Persona 4 Revival's release window, but its financial reports suggest that the company is aiming to launch the Persona 4 remake in fiscal year 2027.
