Elden Ring players have long been wondering what's next for the franchise after the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and the release of Elden Ring Nightreign. While Nightreign was certainly a unique and bold new direction, it was also quite divisive among fans, with many players simply not interested in the style of multiplayer-based gameplay it offered, preferring the classic FromSoftware single-player, open-world style of the original.
