Xbox Game Pass is far from gaming's best-kept secret. Years ago, when it was referred to as the "Netflix of games," it enjoyed a resplendent era of value, but all eras must come to an end. Last year, the service got a pretty significant price hike, and although Microsoft relented a bit recently, it's still pretty expensive.
That said, in any given month, you can get what you pay for. Tons of first-party games are dropping from Microsoft throughout the year, and recently, Forza Horizon 6 was offered up as a free day-one Xbox Game Pass title. It's an easy choice to make if you're planning to play a first-party game and just want to sub for a month.
