In late May 2026, known leaker Lolilolailo took to Chinese social media website Xiaohongshu, also known as RedNote, to share six images that were supposedly obtained from an outsourcing studio involved in the development of Persona 6. Four of the images show a blonde male character said to be the protagonist of Atlus's upcoming RPG. Two also feature a dark-haired female character, one in a sketch sheet labeled "facial expressions" and "Kugabe Neiko / Yasuko," according to a machine translation. The label could refer to the female character's name, while the materials themselves appear to support recent rumors that Persona 6 will feature two protagonists.
